Who was the better Quarterback in the
City of Dearborn in the 1960s?

For 40 years we have been debating this topic.
On Friday, July 25, 2008, 6:00 p.m. at Ginopolis' On The Grill Restaurant in Farmington Hills, Michigan, we will finally have an answer.

Many of Gary and Ted's former teammates, friends and neighbors will be in attendance to settle the dispute by telling each of them,

"How Good they WEREN'T"!!!

Editor's Note:

Some say the best quarterback was Michael Booth (All-State Quarterback-1972; Edsel Ford Class of 73).  mbooth@orange.k12.oh.usmwb1744@hotmail.com.

Others say it was Gary Forystek (All-State Quarterback-1973; Divine Child Class of 74).

Gary Danielson was born in 1951 and grew up in the Carlysle/Monroe area of Dearborn, Michigan.  He was the tall, dark and handsome Armenian kid in the neighborhood.

Gary attended Whitmore Bolles Elementary and Edison Junior High.  He graduated from Divine Child High School in 1969.

Gary earned a football scholarship to Purdue University and later played professional football for the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns.  He currently works as the Lead College Football Television Analyst with announcer Verne Lundquist for Southeastern Conference Football on CBS Television.

Ted Grignon was born in 1950 and grew up in the Willow/Outer Drive area of Dearborn, Michigan.  He has the California Golden Boy blonde good looks.

Ted attended Snow Elementary, Stout Junior High and graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1968.

Ted earned a football scholarship to Western Michigan University and later taught school and coached at Belleville High School.  He is now retired and leading a gentlemanly life in North Carolina.
